On February 23rd of 1973 your Dad brought me to the maternity ward at Lowell General and of course you being my first I was in labor thru the night...Dad went home to take a nap ( labor can be s0 exhausting...)
So there we were, you and I, born this morning back in 1973~ my firstborn, looking up at me so sweetly asking, " Where is Dad?"
The obstetrician called him at home and woke him from his nap...and said "I have two girls waiting for you here at the hospital"
Every husband gets one good nap in a marriage~that was Dads~
He has been at your side every day since....♥

Happy Birthday to our firstborn!

Dad just got home from work and has his owm memories of what happened and would like me to let everyone know that he was "sent "home by the doctor ( to take a nap...) and the doctor said we would "start again" in the morning....(????)( call me crazy but I'm thinking we have already started...)
So yes, dad says, he did go home and he was called by the doctor who said"I have two girls waiting for you" He said he was confused at first (deep sleep will do that...) and then realized I must have had a girl....lol! oh my....
So the story goes...Dad AND the doctor went home for a nap~our labor continued Jacki and just before you were born the nurses woke up the doc and the doc called Dad...........women rule....♥
