Sewing weekend!

We had to start our weekend with a trip( another...) to Louisa May Alcotts' home in Concord! To our surprise today. May 23rd is the anniversary date of Amys wedding. her namesake May was married in the home in Concord and her wedding dress was laid out on her bed for us to see! it was brown~ a choice made by May because she wanted her husband to see her on her wedding day as he would see her every day in her lifetime...
