Gotta love parenting...

So,

Last weekend was Opening Day for Thompson Little League and the town has a big parade.

Danny marched very proudly with his teammates "Jim's Pizza"--very cute.

The town takes this ceremony very seriously and hundreds arrive at the baseball fields. The announcer instructs us to all stand for the national anthem played by the middle school band. Everyone is silent and serious and my baby is shrieking her new word --

HELP!!! HELP!!!! HELP!!!! HELP!!!!HELP!!!HELP!!!!HELP!!!!

Because I am not letting her out of her carriage.

No one cracked a smile or thought this was funny. After a few margaritas to soothe my sunburn I could even laugh...
